Push

Send push notifications to iOS, Android and browsers with one API call

Push is free on every account, with no volume cap. Upload your FCM and APNs keys, register device tokens from your backend, and send to a user by your own user ID. It uses the same API key as your email.

We deliver through APNs, FCM and Web Push using your credentials

iOS, Android and web in one call
A send goes to APNs for iOS, FCM for Android and VAPID Web Push for browsers. You get one combined result back.
Your own keys, per app
Each app (a consumer app, a driver app, staging, production) has its own FCM service account, APNs .p8 key and device list. We generate the VAPID keypair for browsers. Credentials are encrypted at rest and never leave our servers.
Targeting
Send to one user by your own user ID, to a list of users, to specific tokens, or to every device on an app when you need to announce a launch or an outage.
Delivery results
Each send records sent, failed or rejected for every device. When Apple or Google reports a token as dead, we retire it, so you don't have to write cleanup code.
Links on tap
Add a link to a notification and a tap opens that screen in your app, or a web page. Deep links are free as well.
AI agents
Connect Claude or another MCP client to api.startupaid.org/mcp and it can register devices and send push on your account.

Register a device, send, check the result

POST/v1/push/apps/:appId/devicesRegister a user's device token. Safe to repeat, and invalid tokens are retired automatically.
POST/v1/push/apps/:appId/sendSend to one user, a list of users, specific tokens or every device, across all platforms in one call.
GET/v1/push/apps/:appId/messages/:idSee how a send went on each device: sent, failed or rejected.

Push FAQ

iOS through Apple Push Notification service (APNs), Android through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), and browsers through VAPID Web Push. One send call reaches all three.

Yes. Push is a relay, so we send with your provider credentials: an FCM service account JSON for Android and an APNs .p8 key for iOS. Browser Web Push uses a VAPID keypair that we generate for you.

Yes, as many as you run. Each app has its own credentials and devices, and every endpoint sits under /v1/push/apps/:appId, so a consumer app and a driver app never share an audience.

Your app collects the user's push token and passes it to your backend, which registers it with us under your own user ID using your secret API key. The key stays on your server and never ships inside the app.

Push is free on every account with no volume cap, and so are deep links. It uses the same API key and dashboard as email, currency and the other products.
